>>>Values

Aligning your core values help with goal setting, they form part of your brand mission*. Core values are at the centre of your identity:

~ they make you who you are
~ help you to make decisions that are right for you
~ ultimately what others remember you by

By articulating what your core values are, you'll be in a better position to set goals that will allow you to stay true to your personal ethics, as well as assist in your growth as a person.

Tip: Take a few moments to think about what kind of person you are, what core values are most important to you. Now write down the first 10 that come to mind... example of mine include: integrity, respect, work ethic, value.

To help determine your values, think of the people you look up to the most. These people can be either from your inner circle or any celebrity or professionals that inspire you. Why do you look up to them?

Footnote: Richard Branson's mother Eve recently passed, he wrote a heartfelt tribute to her on the Virgin blog "Celebrating my mum, Eve Branson", what stood out for me is the high esteem he held her in, the values she instilled in him to help shape him, the legacy she left and memories filled with joy. To your success…
